Monticello Motor Club, North America’s Premier Automotive Country Club and Private Race Track, features 4.1 miles of smooth race-grade asphalt dedicated to the driving pleasure of its members – individuals and families who are passionate about motorsports, who relish the driving experience, and who seek a place of belonging among like-minded people. Just 90 minutes from New York City, MMC is more than a race track. It is a luxury family destination with an array of services and amenities, such as professional instruction, track-side support, premium car storage, racecar rentals, a complete karting facility, an expansive off-road course, private race schools for novice to experienced track enthusiasts, corporate entertainment, fine dining, and five-star services.
Track & Facilities
The soul of Monticello Motor Club is its road course, comprising 4.1 miles of race-grade asphalt. Built to test a professional racecar driver, but designed to be safe for the first-time Club member, the road course is set on 670 wooded acres of undulating terrain and features:
- Grand corners reminiscent of great European tracks
- Over 1.5 miles of straights, some of the longest in North America
- 450 feet of thrilling elevation changes
- A total of 22 turns including hairpins, increasing, and decreasing radius
With over four miles and a variety of layouts, the course is capable of operating as three independent circuits that can run simultaneously. With so many configurations possible, it’s almost like coming to a new venue every time. The complex includes two separate pit facilities in addition to a skid pad area. The design is the first combined effort of Brian Redman, world-famous driving champion and winner of 77 races in 12 countries, and Bruce Hawkins, the preeminent architect of next-generation race tracks.
The MMC Karting Track, along the North Straight, provides MMC members and their families with access to one of the Northeast’s finest karting facilities. It includes a 0.6-mile asphalt ribbon, 30 feet of total elevation changes, and a family-friendly karting clubhouse.
Our members enjoy multi-class races, endurance events, family camps, youth programs, and much more. Proper lighting, curbing, timing, and barrier systems also allow for true member high-speed performance karting events.
A fleet of Sodi Karts are available for rental for members, guests, families, and private outings. We also have Birel karts for members with karting experience looking for race performance.
Monticello Motor Club has developed some of the finest motorsports facilities in the world to complement our 4.1-mile road course, 0.6-mile karting track, and miles of off-road trails. Members and their guests have access to our South Pavilion, a stunning track-side clubhouse complete with classrooms, a dining area, bar, kitchen, members-only lounge, private locker rooms and showers, wireless Internet, a pro shop, and attached temperature-controlled garages. In addition, members have access to our safe, heated car storage facilities, private garages, fuel services (93, 100 octane), full automotive service center, karting services and kid’s lounge adjacent to our karting track, detailing center, and helipad. On-site security services are staffed 24/7.
