3-Day Driving School

MMC’s 3-Day Racing School, available using one of MMC’s Porsche Cayman PDK or a Spec Mazda Miata racecars, provides participants with a foundation in racing techniques, either for improving their high-performance driving skills or as a gateway toward competitive racing.

MMC Team Challenge

With our MMC Team Challenge, teams compete against other teams in a series of adrenaline-filled driving activities utilizing a variety of high-performance vehicles on our private 4.1-mile race track and 0.6-mile karting track. Bring teams of anywhere from 5 to 15 people! Provide a REAL bonding experience for corporate teams, families, and friends!

Yes. Anyone with a valid driver’s license can participate. Our instructors work with drivers of all skill and confidence levels to make sure that you get the most from your day with us in safest way possible.
Yes, our “Taste of the Track” experience allows you to drive your own high performance car on track. We provide a professional instructor to coach you throughout the day. Convertibles are not allowed on track unless equipped with rollover protection required to pass the “broom stick test”.
Your time on track will vary depending on the experience you choose. Most of our driving programs allow for up to 2-3 hours of driving in addition to some classroom training.
Our events run rain or shine. Wet weather actually adds to the experience, learning environment, and can be even more fun. If the weather is persistent and does not allow for safe operation we will give you the option to reschedule to a later date.
Monticello Motor Club strives to be one of the safest racetracks in the world. We offer generous runoff areas and the latest in safety systems. Our staff of track professionals is dedicated to helping guests have an enjoyable, exciting, and – most importantly – safe visit every time they are on the track. Track safety personnel on site monitor operations and professional driving instructors are with guests providing direction at all times.
Driver requirements vary depending on the program you sign up for. Events featuring Radical’s require prior experience driving a manual transmission. Events featuring Jaguars do not require any experience driving a manual transmission.
Each driver is responsible for his or her actions while on the racetrack. Prior to entering the facility, each person is required to sign a liability waiver.
We will provide helmets for the track portion of the event at no additional charge. You may also bring your own Snell 2005 or newer helmet.
Feel free to wear comfortable and casual clothing. Long pants are required and long sleeve shirts are preferred. Driving shoes or shoes with laces and a soft, flat sole are required. (No sandals). For chillier days, dress in layers that you can easily exchange throughout the day. Avoid clothing that is bulky or restrictive. Shoes should have soft rubber soles with laces and no heel (sorry ladies, you’ll have to leave the Manolos in the closet). Bulky or heavy shoes should also be avoided.
Non-driving guests are allowed but must pre-register. We can accommodate guests with meals and the opportunity to go for a ride-along with an instructor driving. The fees for non-driving guests will be depend on the event you participate in.
In the spring and autumn months, the weather in Monticello can be as much as 10 degrees cooler than in New York City, otherwise it is much the same. Check the forecast the evening before your program. Keep in mind that you will be outside for parts of the day so be prepared for a full day of exposure to the elements by ensuring that you layer your clothes as the temperature changes during the day.
In case the need arises to reschedule, credit will be granted for rescheduled experiences. You may reschedule your event date once up to 48 hours prior to the start date of your event without penalty. Without said notice, rescheduled dates will not be processed. All rescheduling requests must be made in writing to our Sales Team at
