A. Lange & Söhne, considered makers of haute horlogerie (watchmaking in its highest form), is the Official Timepiece Partner of Monticello Motor Club.
Established in Glashütte, Saxony, by Ferdinand A. Lange in 1845, A. Lange & Söhne pocket watches were among the most sought-after timepieces in the world until the Second World War forced the company into a 40-year hiatus. In 1994, Walter Lange, great-grandson of Ferdinand Adolph Lange, revived the brand and launched the first collection.
A. Lange & Söhne creates outstanding hand-finished mechanical timepieces with challenging complications that follow a clear and classical design line. The German company is distinguished by unparalleled technical ingenuity and a degree of perfection which can only be achieved by hand.
The designs themselves are distinctive and unique, making them easily distinguishable from Swiss luxury brands. A. Lange & Söhne watches generally display blued screws, individually hand-engraved balance cocks, gold chatons, and Glashütte three-quarter plate with stripe finish.
As the official timepiece partner for Monticello Motor Club, MMC members will receive invitations to exclusive A. Lange & Söhne events, personally hosted by Silvia Juarez-Henry, Brand President of North America.
