ND2 Series & Race Updates
ND2 & Member Challenge: Recommended Service Prep

Following our hands-on ND2 training with Flis Motorsports and updates to the official 2025 MX-5 Cup Guide, our Service Center is ready to support you with key preseason inspections and upgrades. Over the next few days, we’ll be reaching out with individual recommendations to ensure your car is fully compliant and optimized for performance. All services below will be performed by our Service Center team and billed at our standard hourly rate.
1. ECU & AiM Dash Updates
We’ll confirm that your Bosch MS6 ECU is running the latest encrypted firmware and that your AiM MXL2 or MXS dash is fully updated and configured for accurate lap timing, fuel tracking, and diagnostics.
2. Full Nut & Bolt Inspection
A chassis-wide inspection is strongly advised before hitting the track. We’ll verify torque specs across all key areas—suspension, drivetrain, brakes, and subframes—to catch issues before they happen.
3. Setup & Weight Compliance
We’ll ensure your ride height, alignment, and ballast meet 2025 series requirements.
4. MYLAPS Flagging Unit Installation
A MYLAPS Flagging System is now required for ND2, Member Challenge, and Queally Mazda Classic Series. If you haven’t installed yours, the Service Center can assist with setup and testing to ensure compliance with live flagging requirements.
Additional Recommendations
We also suggest:
– Purchasing a second set of rims
– Pre-Ordering Hankook tires and rain tires
– Confirming your ballast setup based on updated driver weight rules
– Inspecting or recommending window nets, roof nets, and seat mounts to ensure safety compliance
If you’d like to proactively schedule your service, just contact the Service Center. We’re happy to walk through your needs and get you track-ready.
