Member Brian Kaminsky and the Kids for Kids organization will be hosting their annual Race for A Cure fundraiser at MMC with proceeds going to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Join in on fun on-track competitions, instruction, and off-roading in the Glickenhaus Boot. The day will also include raffles, an auction and, of course, a whole lot of camaraderie!

Wednesday, October 19 & Thursday, October 20
MMC is excited to offer members two consecutive track days at Watkins Glen International, the mecca of North American road tracks!
This event is open to all driver levels. White and blue drivers are welcome to drive with instruction. Non-member guests are welcome to join us with prior approval, as long as they have extensive and verifiable track experience. Must be 18+ to participate.
While at Watkins Glen, you’ll enjoy MMC’s exceptional hospitality with breakfast and lunch being served both days.
The cost to participate is $3,000, minus membership level discounts. There will be no track support crew fees for these days.

We sat down with racing members, Alex Blaker and Jason Cohen, who will be battling it out in this weekend’s Member Challenge. They’re both on the quest to be crowned Club Champion! Here’s what they had to say…
How long have you been a member at MMC?
This is my 4th season.
How many years have you been racing?
I started racing in a Spec Miata mid-way through my first season at MMC.
How many years have you been racing in the Member Series?
My first race at the club was in the member series, so 3 years.
What is your racing experience outside of MMC, if any?
None! Hope to try IMSA or Porsche Sprint in the future.
What car are you racing in Satuday’s race?
Porsche 718 GT4 Clubsport MR
What is your fastest lap at MMC?
Last week during qualifying for the member race, a 2:21.7
What is the most exciting thing to happen to you in a member race?
Racing the Ehrlich brothers in the GT4 series, we spent the entire 30 minutes within 1 second of each other, constantly changing places between 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. I finished the race in 2nd.
What is the funniest thing to happen to you in a member race?
Not sure if it’s funny but certainly the most bizarre, a member ran over a turtle on the back straight just in front of me.
What was your first car?
Subaru WRX
How long have you been a member at MMC?
Nine years. I joined in 2013.
How many years have you been racing?
I had only done track driving in a Radical and Porsche Cup Car at NJMP until 2013 when I did two rounds of the Radical Cup Race at MMC. I didn’t really love it. It wasn’t until the Member Challenge started that I really got into it.
How many years have you been racing in the Member Series?
I started in 2018 with racing lites.
What is your racing experience outside of MMC, if any?
None, really. Outside of MMC it’s just been educational.
What car are you racing on Saturday?
GT3 Cup Car in the Sprint Challenge and GT4 Spec in the GT4 Sprint. It’s a more for fun, but much slower car.
What is your fastest lap at MMC?
2:15 and change in my Radical SR8 in 2013 or 2014.
What is the most exciting thing to happen to you in a member race?
Winning the championship in 2021
What is the funniest thing to happen to you in a member race?I blew a standing start. I had never used launch control and I screwed that up by bogging down on the start. It was raining and I went off track and got a ton of grass in my car.
What was your first car?

MMC member Ally Raphael recently made headlines as the only female teenaged pro racer in North America and for being an inspiration to young men and women with dreams to follow.
The University of Richmond sophomore grew up at MMC and got her start in motorsports while joining her family at the track. She’s overcome the challenges of being a female in a male-dominant sport and encourages others to become comfortable with the uncomfortable in order to make their dreams come true.
