Looking to get in on next season’s Member race action? MMC will be holding its last 3-Day Racing School for 2021 on September 27 – 29, so now’s your chance!
This 3-day program is the perfect foundation for race craft and improving your high-performance driving technique. Upon completing the program, participants may be eligible for racing in next season’s Member race series, with approval from Track Director, Dennis Macchio.
Click here for more details and reserve your spot through Concierge.
Varsity Racing is back beginning this month! What began last year as an alternative to high school and college sports, most of which were canceled due to the pandemic, is now heading into its third season. The Varsity Racing program creates bonds between teenage Members and teaches them valuable on- and off-track skills. The program is meant for red-group and black-group drivers, or those approved for Varsity by MMC’s Track Director, Dennis Macchio.
New for this season, we’ll introduce the JV Racing league to provide an additional steppingstone for Members who are not yet prepared for weekly racing. JV is meant for blue-group Members or those with prior approval from MMC’s track director. Teens in this program may be moved up to Varsity level during the season based on performance and with approval from the track director.
Athletes will participate in team drills and group instruction, bonding exercises, team races and end-of-day review. These programs are for Members only and require use of a personal or rented Mazda or 2.9L Porsche Cayman racecar. For drills, participants will use MMC fleet vehicles (Mazda racecars, MINI Coopers, BMWs, and Cross Karts). For either program, if a Member is using a rented or owned Mazda, they must be proficient in a manual vehicle.
The cost for the program is $8,000 and includes group instruction, access to fleet vehicle for drills, and meals during practices.

On February 11-15, 2022, MMC will host a limited number of members and guests for our fourth MMC Porsche Ice Experience in Quebec. Hosted by Porsche Canada, MMC will have exclusive use of Mecaglisse, an extraordinary driving facility located an hour northwest of Montreal that features miles of ice circuits and skid pads. Porsche custom designed two programs exclusively for MMC: an advanced program (3 full days of driving) for members who currently run in MMC Blue/Black/Red run groups OR who attended prior Porsche ice-driving programs, and an introductory program (3 half-days of driving) for MMC members and guest who have less on-track experience (no prior track experience is required — just a driver’s license.) Also exclusive to MMC: night-time lapping and a special evening team competition! As this MMC trip is a private club event, guests are limited to spouses and significant others. Click here to learn more.
This off-season, MMC will host three exclusive events at Sebring International Raceway for member lapping and special training programs. More information to follow, but save these dates now to join us in Sebring, Florida for some special member days!

On top of school, soccer, and swimming, Eve carves out time to race with her bubbly, determined, and resilient manner making her a standout on track.
What is your favorite part about racing?
I enjoy the rush and feeling of being in the car, but also being with friends. Overall racing is just a great experience.
How long have you been racing?
I have been racing at MMC since last summer when I was 14.
What is it like balancing racing and school?
School takes priority for me, and I always make sure my responsibilities are being taken care of, too.
Describe yourself in three words.
Athletic, competitive, and straightforward.
What other sports do you do?
I mainly play soccer, but also swim. I am also starting some new sports this coming school year.
What is your favorite/dream car?
My dream car is either the Corvette C8 or the BMW M2.
Favorite turn on track?
My favorite turn on track is the carousel. It is always fun.
Biggest pet-peeve?
Probably mean people.
Are there any life lessons you learned on-track which apply to off-track?
Just keep driving. I find this valuable off-track because it just means that you have to keep going and not give up.
What is your favorite part/activity on a member day that is not driving?
Outside of driving, my favorite activity would be hanging out with the friends I’ve made at the Club.
What do you think makes you a good racer?
My patience, open-mindedness, and ability to take feedback from instructors.
