In 2011 after selling his healthcare company, Ari took over as Managing Partner/CEO and implemented a new strategy and family-focused ethos to achieve a world-class destination for driving enthusiasts to escape with family, co-workers, and friends. During his 12 years of leadership, Ari developed and shepherded a new 670-acre master site plan approved with overwhelming community support, oversaw major expansion projects, and tripled club membership. He is most proud of assembling and leading the management team that translated this vision into today’s warm community where kids and parents kart together, children as young as 13 drive and race alongside adult members, and dozens of couples and families lap, learn, and race together. Ari retired in 2022 and will remain involved in the club’s strategic direction.
Before serving at MMC, Ari founded mdINR, a healthcare software and service provider (sold 2010 to Lincare Holdings, Nasdaq:LNCR) Earlier in his career, Ari worked for Coca-Cola, Deloitte Consulting, founded an online apparel company, Figleaves.com (sold 2000), and served as general manager for Walmart.com. He received his B.A. from Franklin & Marshall College and his MBA from Emory University.
Since 2000, Ari has pursued his passion for motorsports competition as a “gentleman driver” competing in dozens of professional races across various series including IMSA Rolex/Weathertech, Ferrari Challenge, Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge, IMSA Prototype Challenge (IMSA Lites), Radical Cup, and Mazda MX-5 Cup.
